Privet - Over eight years ago I met the most wonderful Russian woman in the world! What started as friends on the Internet per e-mails and text messages, became a dream come true for this American. I moved to Russia seven years ago and have never, one time in all those years, regretted that move to Russia. In fact, I have realized over the years that Russia is safe, incredibly fantastic and a wonderfully explicit country to live and travel in. I have been lucky in many ways and meeting a normal Russian woman whose main goal is not to leave Russia, that was a blessing in disguise, as I was the one who had to make the hard decision to leave my country. It was a decision that I have never ever regretted and it also opened my eyes to a whole new world of ideas and thinking's. So welcome to Windows to Russia and stay a spell, sip a cup of coffee. MF Global’s Jon Corzine may decide silence is golden

Jon Corzine’s career seems to turn in circles. The former Goldman Sachs boss moved into politics as governor of New Jersey, then back into finance, now he’s heading back to Washington. Sadly for the former New Jersey governor his return to Capitol Hill will be made in less than auspicious circumstances. Next month, the House [...]

The Black Swans of Politics: (I am proud to be one of those Black Swans…)

From the LewRockwell Blog: I remember once arguing with an honest young atheist, who was very much shocked at my disputing some of the assumptions which were absolute sanctities to him (such as the quite unproved proposition of the independence of matter and the quite improbable proposition of its power to originate mind), and he [...]

TSA scanners give cancer?

If you were opposed to TSA body scanners before, new studies show that you might have more to worry about than just employees taking a peek at what’s beneath your blouse. Blackwater killer gets 30 months, Newburgh 4 get 25 years

Before a federal court room this week, US Attorney Neil MacBride was rather blunt about what actions a former Blackwater security guard undertook while working in Afghanistan in 2009. “Justin Cannon opened fire with an AK-47 at the rear of a retreating vehicle and took the life of an innocent Afghan,” is all he needed [...]

Blagojevich Mess Will Linger for Years in Illinois

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) — In the end, Rod Blagojevich did not bring doom for his party or the national political figures whose names got dragged into his scandal. Recession Forces States to Rethink Tourism Funding

OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) — Like a business trying to sell a product, Washington state has for years attracted visitors by promoting stunning images of some of the nation’s most majestic scenery — from the snowcapped peaks of the Cascades to the rainforests and thundering waterfalls of the Olympic Peninsula.
