Privet - Over eight years ago I met the most wonderful Russian woman in the world! What started as friends on the Internet per e-mails and text messages, became a dream come true for this American. I moved to Russia seven years ago and have never, one time in all those years, regretted that move to Russia. In fact, I have realized over the years that Russia is safe, incredibly fantastic and a wonderfully explicit country to live and travel in. I have been lucky in many ways and meeting a normal Russian woman whose main goal is not to leave Russia, that was a blessing in disguise, as I was the one who had to make the hard decision to leave my country. It was a decision that I have never ever regretted and it also opened my eyes to a whole new world of ideas and thinking's. So welcome to Windows to Russia and stay a spell, sip a cup of coffee. The expected Americans Elect claimant is enlivening his supporters to opinion their conscience.

Two weeks ago,
I wrote about a some of us who trust that a guileful change of money
in American politics is a many vicious emanate confronting this nation, and that
those who trust like us face a formidable dilemma: conjunction vital celebration candidate
is going to make this his emanate for this debate (indeed, a Obama campaign
has only airbrushed his critique of Citizens United from their webpage). So
those of us who consider this approach contingency possibly accept that a emanate will go dark
for 4 years during least, or pull a third-party claimant who will make this his
central issue.

I grabbed the
second horn of that dilemma, arguing here that supporters of crime reform
should join Americans Elect and validate a remodel candidate. Two apparent choices
lead a Americans Elect pack: Buddy Roemer, a four-time congressman and
former administrator of Louisiana, and David Walker, former Comptroller General of
the United States. Both, we said, would be vicious remodel candidates. Either
could pull crime onto core stage.

My inbox
exploded with indignant emails from friends (and others) who indicted me of
betraying a really vicious cause: Roemer, they said, won’t win. He would only
spoil Obama’s chances to win. So because pull a mislaid cause, they asked, if the
consequence could be a detriment for Obama?

It is a fair
question. As we pronounced in my initial essay, this is not an insignificant election.
Even if we insincere that a second Obama tenure would be even some-more gridlocked than
the first, regard for a Court is reason adequate (for those on my side at
least) to quarrel like ruin to keep him there. Third-party possibilities are
unpredictable animals — infrequently hidden elections for a Democrats (Perot
tilted a outcome divided from Bush towards Clinton), infrequently hidden elections
for a Republicans (Nader slanted a outcome divided from Gore to Bush, aka,
cosmic justice). Why would anyone risk a doubt they produce?

But on Friday,
Buddy Roemer private this risk from a reformer’s equation. In a press release
and email to his supporters, Roemer embraced an “Anti-Spoiler Principle.” Though
he says he’s in this competition to win, if he became a Americans Elect candidate,
he has now committed to a essential promise: if during a finish of a race, Roemer
writes, “I learn we have no picturesque possibility of winning, we will ask my
supporters to opinion their demur or for their second choice so a emanate of
spoiler can be forsaken once and for all.”

This is an innovation
that third celebration supporters should welcome generally. It is mostly remarked by
political scientists and voter strategists that a fact that America has no
instant-runoff voting system, in that electorate get to arrange their preferences, weakens
the chances for alternatives to be heard. Roemer has now in outcome combined an
instant-run-off voting system. His runoff will occur around poll, not during the
polls, though a outcome is a same: If on, let’s say, a Saturday before the
election, his pollsters tell him there’s no approach he can win, afterwards he’s out. The
voters who would have upheld him can go behind to a claimant they would
have upheld had Roemer not run in a initial place.

For those who
believe that remodel is vicious to each other emanate of importance, Roemer has
now upped a ante. In 10 minutes, any purebred voter can turn an Americans
Elect delegate. With 5 seconds more, they can supplement their support to Roemer’s
campaign — meaningful that if he is a candidate, he has betrothed not to spoil
the choosing for possibly Romney or Obama.

What he could
spoil  is a swindling of overpower that
now reigns about a crime of this system. That’s a kind of spoiling
this republic needs.

So, take the
10 mins and 5 seconds to make this emanate distinct again. If more
than 5,000 do this by Tuesday, Roemer is expected to be a Americans Elect
candidate. Here’s how.

THE COMMENT FINE PRINT - IN DEFENSE AGAINST MENTAL MIDGETS:

Why do you not respond to my comment? Why is my comment gone? Why are you mean? Why do I hate you for erasing my comment? Why do you hate me for my comment? Why is cussing not allowed (Sometimes you do it - sorta!), when it helps me express my feelings? Why are you a #$&%@#? Why is it wrong to wish you dead? Why do you love Russia? Why are you stupid? Why are you unpatriotic? Why is, why is, why is and why is? My GOD man, Why are you worse than a communist?

The above manifestations of a horde of mental midgets is why I only respond to comments that have signed up to be a user of the blog! (Top right of website is link!) Anyone can comment and anyone can be erased after they comment, but only someone who takes the time to sign up gets a second look from me at the comment. Sorry: I have to draw the line somewhere and when you get thousands of spam, hate and death threat comments a day, then all you do is look at spam, hate and death threats, then I never get anything else done. If you comment after signing in, then I will get a message that someone has tried to post a real comment?

Thanks for understanding and even if you don't understand, thanks anyway...

Another day in the life of Windows to Russia...
