PHOENIX, May 17 (UPI) — Arizona state Rep. Ben Arredondo is charged with temptation and rascal in a sovereign indictment, a U.S. Justice Department said.
Arredondo, 63, is indicted of receiving $6,000 in tickets to internal sporting events while he was a member of a Tempe City Council in sell for assisting promote a growth understanding involving clandestine FBI agents.
The charges embody bribery, fraud, attempted coercion and fake statements, a Justice Department pronounced Thursday.
Arredondo will be arraigned May 30 in U.S. District Court before Magistrate Judge Lawrence O. Anderson, a matter said.
